Blind plastic windows
The simplest metal—plastic construction is a blind window. But, despite the simplicity, such windows are used for glazing various objects. Even the absence of opening shutters does not prevent blind windows from successfully coping with their duties — natural lighting of the premises and protection from excessive heat loss.
Features of a blind window
A window that does not open is called deaf, arranged according to the following scheme:
- The basis of the design is the frame, which is fixed in the window opening during installation.
- Filling is installed inside the frame. More often, double—glazed windows are used as a filling - single-chamber or two-chamber, standard or energy-saving.
- Filling inside the frame is fixed with beads. The beads firmly press the double-glazed window, increasing the tightness of the structure.

- the absence of a sash allows you to increase the light opening. Where the amount of natural light will be critical, it is the blind windows that are installed.
